New Musou Modes for the “outside” characters of DW3: Lu Bu, Dong Zhuo, Diao Chan, Yuan Shao, Meng Huo, Zhu Rong and Zhang Jiao.
Customizable bodyguards allow you to assign characters such as Lu Bu to be your bodyguard or create your own, choosing the gender, uniform, weapons, items and names for each guard in your unit.
Double Musou Attacks can now be used in the one-player games. Find new and rare 5th level weapons to expand your character’s capabilities.
Four new challenge modes. When used in combination with DW3, DW3 XL features can be used across the DW3 game and storylines.

GAME CONTROLS
Directional Buttons Moves Character
X Button Jump / Mount when near a horse / Dismount when on a horse
Triangle Button Charge Attack
Square Button Normal Attack
Circle Button Musou Attack (possible only when Musou Gauge is full, attack will continue when button is held down until Musou Gauge is empty, when empty holding down Musou Attack will refill Musou Gauge
L2 Button Displays the names of troops and officers and their remaining life
L1 Button Guard against frontal attacks / Shift camera to a frontal view / When held down with analog stick, character will move while keeping the camera's current orientation
R2 Button Toggles between the full and local maps
R1 Button Hold down to enter Bow mode, left analog stick adjusts the sighting. Attack buttons release the arrows: Square Button is normal bow attack, Triangle Button is increased power bow attack that can knock out the enemy, and Circle Button is a barrage of arrows (continued as long as the button is held down and the Musou Gauge is at Max).

Combo #1 Charge 2 (Lift enemies into the air): Square, Triangle
Combo #2 Charge 3 (Knock out enemy temporarily): Square, Square, Triangle
Combo #3 Charge 4 (Attack enemy over wide area and knock them into the air): Square, Square, Square, Triangle
Combo #4 Charge 5 (Knock enemy into the air, continuing lets you follow them into the air and continue attacks with weapons with a combo count of 5): Square, Square, Square, Square, Triangle
Combo #5 Charge 6 (For special attacks with weapons with a combo count of 6): Square, Square, Square, Square, Square, Triangle
Combo #6 True Musou Attack: Circle Button when your health gauge is red, allows you to do a Musou Attack without being hit by enemies.
Combo #7 Double Musou Attack: Circle Button when using Warrior Bodyguards.
MOUNTED ATTACK
Triangle Button On Horse: Charge Attack enemies to your left or right. On Elephant: Shake the ground and stop enemy movement.
Square Button On Horse: Normal Attack enemies to your left and right. On Elephant: Ram the enemies and send them flying.
Circle Button On Horse: Musou attack enemies to your left or right. On Elephant: Charge and trample the enemy. You can continue attacks until Musou Gauge is empty.
Unlock Secret Ending
Select options from the main menu and select opening.
At the opening screen enter the code.
If you've enter the code correctly a secret ending should play.
